There is an unusual and mysterious life waiting for us from both parts of the stage – behind and in front of the curtains. The children are going to have the unique chance to create ‘life’ on the stage by improvising and developing their rhythm senses. They will have the opportunity to tell stories through visual objects and different types of music – classical music, jazz and contemporary music. All of this is possible because of their imagination which is going to take new directions while the children are wearing different characters’ shoes. They are going to dive into the magic world that is hidden beyond the curtains! As a final refinement, the children are going to turn into real actors playing on the ‘big’ stage! What could be a better experience than that?

Elena Stoyanova is a young director but that doesn’t mean that she doesn’t have enough experience. What is more, ‘Suor Angelica’ and ‘Gianni Schicchi’ are the two season opening productions of The State Opera of Plovdiv in 2016. Elena has few chamber headlines in her directing life called ‘Rita’ by Gaetano Donizetti, ‘Livietta e tracollo’ by Pergolesi and more. But what is more interesting is that Elena uses different grips such as ‘shadows theater’ and has taken part in the prestigious music festival ‘Sofia’s musical weeks’. The list that contains all the spectacles Elena is part of is very long. She has a rich experience for her young age and she is also very passionate about experimenting with different techniques. That was the reason that made her bring the scandalous broadway musical ‘The Rocky Horror Picture Show’ on bulgarian stage as a part of educational programme.
